About Us
Edinburgh USA is a public course in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and is owned and operated by the City of Brooklyn Park. It is one of only two courses in Minnesota designed by world renowned architect, Robert Trent Jones II who also designed Chambers Bay, site of the 2015 U.S. Open. We opened in 1987 under rave reviews and that year was named by Golf Digest as the “2nd best new public course in America”. Since we have hosted 7 LPGA Tour events and the U.S.G.A. Public Links Championship, and have been recognized by multiple golf publications on their Best Golf Courses lists. In 2014, the Robert Trent Jones II design firm came back and completed an amazing renovation; all new bunkers, much more playable fairway landing areas and chipping areas around the greens, three brand new greens and four new tee boxes. Course Details
Edinburgh USA is a spectacular 18 hole golf course conveniently located just minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Besides our championship golf course we offer a state of the art practice facility, a beautiful clubhouse designed right from the Scottish tradition, We have beautiful banquet spaces perfect for weddings, meetings, parties or any event.
Golf outings are our specialty; every detail is covered by our experienced staff which will take care of all the details, all you have to do is show up and enjoy your time with your customers, clients or staff. Our packages are affordable and flexible; we are confident that you will continue to utilize our outings once you experience our facilities and staff.
Our golf course was designed by world renowned architect, Robert Trent Jones II. We hosted an LPGA Tour event for 7 years, was the host of the 1992 U.S.G.A. Public Links and have hosted many local amateur and professional championships including the 2013 Minnesota State Open. The golf course was rated the “2nd Best New Daily Fee Golf Course in America” by Golf Digest when it opened and has also been ranked in the “Top 75 Affordable Courses” by Golf Digest, “Best of State” category by Golf Digest, one of the “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” by Golf magazine and many other accolades from the golf community.

When the talk turns to golf clubs, our PGA professionals at Edinburgh USA are here to serve you in the key areas of fitting and understanding your equipment. Our feature line is TaylorMade, but we also carry Callaway and Titleist in stock and can special order much more. We highly recommend having your clubs fit to you; our professional staff is experienced and very knowledgeable club fitters.

Practice Facilities
Enjoy practicing at our spacious, well marked practice facility. The practice range is banked on both sides to simulate hitting a drive on a regulation fairway. The short game facility will give you a chance to practice a variety of shots to improve your game.
Three elevated greens at 100, 150 and 200 yards provide you with targeted landing areas. Our re-designed short game area is tour quality and includes a large regulation green, with two bunkers, fairway, various lengths of rough, and mounding to easily simulate any shot the player will face on the course.
Don’t forget putting is the most important part of your game! Edinburgh USA is famous for the largest green in North America, just over 40,000 sq. ft. The green combines the practice green and holes #9 and #18. The practice green includes many undulations which will simulate the breaks and speed that you will find while playing.
The Clubhouse
With its vaulted ceilings, wrap-around windows, gracious appointments and classic décor, Edinburgh USA is the perfect setting for elegant wedding receptions, galas, corporate meetings and more.
