Edina Country Club is a premier private club, just minutes away from downtown Minneapolis, nestled in the highly sought after, upscale suburb of Edina, Minnesota. Amenities

Edina Country Club offers a variety of recreational and clubhouse amenities which include an 18-hole golf course, resort-style swimming pool, cabana and snack bar, four har-tru (clay) courts and two hard courts, two paddle tennis courts and a 65,000 square foot clubhouse.

The clubhouse offers a fully stocked Golf Shop, men's and women's locker facilities, fitness room, two upscale casual dining restaurants, a pub and a variety of banquet spaces to meet every need from the small business meeting to an elaborate wedding reception.

Practice can be done at both ends of the driving range -- there is plenty of room for everyone! At the south end are practice bunkers and several chipping and pitching areas. There is room for every shot you want to practice as well as a practice putting green to work on your short game. The new short-game facility at the south end (designed by course architects Tom Lehman & Chris Brands) incorporates numerous bunkers and elevation changes that are similar to those played throughout the golf course.

There are no rules requiring how a golfer can get around, but available are caddies, club-owned electric carts and push carts. Golfers also can carry their bag at any time.

Available is a bag room for storage of your equipment. Clubs are cleaned after each use and can be safely stored in bag storage year round. Full-service club repair is available such as regripping, reshafting, and more.

One of the benefits of being a member of Edina Country Club is the variety and quality of the instruction program. Numerous instructors are available to help improve your game, led by teaching professional Bill Brask, a former PGA and Champions Tour player and long-time instructor. Matt Sandquist is the new Player Development Professional on the golf staff , focusing on instruction and year-long programs. Assistant professionals John Anderson and John Burke also are available for lessons. Types of instruction include individual lessons, lesson series, video lessons, playing lessons and group clinics. Our instructors work with every type of golfer from the true beginner to the advanced player.

You can now play golf at Edina Country Club on a year-round basis. The club owns a High-Definition Golf simulator that will be open all year starting in the fall of 2021. You have the option of using the simulator for practice (there are nine different driving range options) or playing any of the 30-plus courses available. It’s a great way to work on your game in the winter months, and more importantly, have some fun!

Some of the benefits of membership at Edina Country Club are the social and competitive opportunities available. There is great variety of tournaments for every golfer. The club also participates in the Twin Cities Senior men's and women's city leagues and the PGA Junior League. Numerous guest days are offered for both men and women. The golf schedule is carefully planned and scheduled to spread out competitions and events throughout the golf season.

Golf Simulator

Edina Country Club’s original swimming pool was built in 1948 and even in those days it was the preferred summer social gathering spot for families and friends of Edina Country Club members. Today we have an updated pool and kiddy pool, constructed in 2003, complete with fountains, slides, diving boards and a full snack facility and bar. We have giant mushroom umbrellas for those that are avoiding the sun and open lounging for those that want that summer tan.

​​​​​​​These are the extras that make Edina Country Club special, however the most attractive and the greatest draw to our pool is the swim program. We have, without a doubt, the most enthusiastic, comprehensive, professional and qualified Swim and Dive Coaching staff anywhere. We have close to 200 children on our Swim Team. Excellence in all staff members and outstanding lessons are a priority at the ECC pool. Male and female instructors are available for lessons. All instructors have extensive swimming backgrounds and are excellent with children.

Our Head Pro, Greg Wicklund and his very capable staff of professionals at Edina Country Club run our Tennis program at Edina Country Club. Greg has been with Edina Country Club since 1982 and has been inducted into the USTA's Northern Hall of Fame and was named the 2010 USTA Northern Frank Voigt Professional of the Year. Greg is a former player and coach at the University of Minnesota. He was a Big Ten Singles Champion in 1981 and U.S.T.A. Senior National Singles Champion in 2010.

Greg takes great care in securing seasonal staff that are professional, qualified and work well with all ages particularly our junior teams. We have a great junior program. Group and private lessons are available, as well as many chances for socialization with tournaments and fun events scheduled for juniors, ladies, men and mixed couples. We also have U.S.T.A. teams for men and women members at Edina Country Club.

​​​​​​​During the winter season, the Tennis Center becomes our winter activity headquarters. Platform tennis, hockey, ice skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding are just part of the fun during the traditional tennis off season. We encourage you and your families to join in the tennis fun here at ECC.

The Fitness Center at E.C.C. was expanded in 2018 to offer Golf and Pool/Tennis members a fully functional private facility for working out. It is great for that early morning warm up or afternoon or evening workout. It is the kind of area that you do not feel intimidated or overwhelmed. People are there to take advantage of the proximity to home and to meet their friends.

For Cardio: 3 Matrix Treadmills, 2 Matrix Ellipticals, 1 Matrix Recumbent Bicycle, 2 Keiser Spin Bikes, an Octane Lateral Trainer, a Cybex Arc Trainer and a Matrix Climbmill.

​​​​​​​For Strength Training: A Matrix Aura Functional Cable trainer, Dumbbells, Kettle Bells, Resistance Bands, Free Weights and miscellaneous mats and body weight equipment.

Edina Country Club offers a number of different dining options to chose from. Whether you have a special event to celebrate, clients to entertain, a family to feed or you just want to enjoy a fun night with your friends, Edina Country Club has something for everyone.

Chester’s

Our family dining restaurant offers a spectacular view overlooking the golf course and features an extraordinary menu from our Executive Chef Brian Thielen. Chester’s was completely remodeled over the winter as part of the Club’s $4 million dollar main floor renovation. It is now a true destination restaurant for our members to enjoy.

The Landing is the newest addition to Edina Country Club’s dining lineup. It features classic fare that changes with the seasons in a casual, nautical themed family dining oasis. After a day at the pool, on the course, or simply anytime - The Landing offers comfort and hospitality in your home away from home for you and your family.

The Pub is the social hub of the club. Fashioned after a neighborhood watering hole you might find on the streets of Edinburgh, Scotland, it is a favorite of our members. The Pub features twelve rotating beers on tap, barrel aged cocktails and a robust wine list paired with a classic pub inspired menu. Five TVs keep you tuned into all the local and "can’t miss" sports events while you enjoy time with your friends. The Pub is the only adult-only dining area in the club.

Renovated in 2018, the Pub Patio is an outdoor dining destination all to its own. With two stunning fireplaces and elegant landscaping, the Pub Patio is outdoor dining at its best. It is also where we host many of the club’s summer events like our Margarita Madness Golf Social and Octoberfest.

Make the most of your summers by dining with the best view in Edina. This beautiful deck, located off Chester’s, overlooks the golf course and is a one-of-a-kind place to enjoy anything from hors d’oeuvres, to full menu service or just visit with friends while enjoying a nice cold beer or glass of wine.

A trip to the pool wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the Pool Snack Bar. Featuring kid’s fare, fresh summer delicacies and a full bar makes the ECC Pool the place to be in the summer!
