In 1969, the founders of Olympic Hills brought to life a new golf course that was immediately recognized as one of the more imaginative and challenging golf venues in Minnesota. Today, Olympic Hills Golf Club exemplifies the early dreams of our founders. Our members enjoy a beautiful golf course and clubhouse, with year round member activities, surrounded by friends and family.
About Us
Olympic Hills Golf Club is a private golf club dedicated to providing its members, families and guests a warm and friendly atmosphere along with an exceptional golf experience.
History
In 1969, the founders of OHGC, along with architect Charlie Maddox, brought to life a golf course that was immediately recognized as one of the more imaginative and demanding venues in MN. After nearly 50 years, the course underwent a complete renovation led by renowned architect Ron Pritchard and project manager Tom Mead from 2013-2015. The course reopened in August 2015 and has matured into one of the top courses in the state. In addition to the golf course and practice facilities, members enjoy elegant dining, engaging social activities and a state of the art fitness and yoga center.
Golf at Olympic Hills
Our 7,400 yard, par 72 golf course is one of the most unique and enjoyable in the state. With exquisite undulated greens and sweeping fairways framed by golden fescue, the course is both challenging and enjoyable for whatever caliber of player steps on the grounds.
A COMPREHENSIVE PRACTICE FACILITY
Our expansive practice facilities provide our members with the tools needed to improve their game including:
- Full length 350 yard driving range
- Separate wedge range with distance specific targets
- 2 chipping greens
- 1,500 square ft putting green
- Fitness center with golf specific training

The Ceremony
Your ceremony at Olympic Hills features a beautiful pergola overlooking our serene waterfall garden and glistening pond. The site offers tiered amphitheater seating with elegant white ceremony chairs. The spectacular sunsets behind the ceremony site each and every night is a photographer's dream come true. Our experienced and passionate team (keep scrolling to meet Emily!) are all yours from booking and planning all the way through to your last dance! We're here to make your special day everything you've ever wanted and more.
The Reception
Your reception at Olympic Hills boasts a beautifully remodeled banquet space with rustic hardwood floors, mahogany Chiavari chairs, gorgeous beamed ceilings, grand windows with stunning views and striking natural light. A newly designed patio deck wraps around the entirety of the room with a view.
The Food
Our customizable menus, developed by our nationally recognized chef, uses from scratch recipes and fresh, seasonal ingredients to create a dining experience matched to your exact specifications. Whether you’re dreaming of a formal three course plated meal or love the idea of a family style dinner, we have the ability to serve your guests in any manner your heart desires.
The Activities
No matter what time of year you choose to say I do! we offer an array of activities to keep your guests of any age entertained all night long. From an outdoor ice rink to lawn games we'll not only make sure your guests feel welcome but give them a fun backdrop for endless photo opportunities.

The Ballroom
The newly remodeled ballroom boasts beautiful dark hardwood floors, ceiling beams and contemporary finishes. Grand windows throughout the space flaunt stunning views of the 18th green and waterfall pond, while natural light pours strikingly into the space. A newly designed deck wraps around the room, creating the perfect ambiance for you and your guests during social hour or after dinner drinks. The ballroom can accommodate any group size, from 10 to 250. A private modern bar creates the perfect flow for guests to enjoy a refreshing craft beer from our rotating lines, a glass of wine from our extensive wine list or a custom handcrafted cocktail. Equipped with a high-tech sound system, A/V equipment and rolling screens for presentations - the ballroom is the perfect space for corporate events and large parties.
The Founders Room
An intimate private dining space perfect for groups of 25 or less. Setup flexibility allows us to set the room family style, u-shaped, or cocktail style creating the perfect ambiance for your event. Friendly knowledgeable service staff will offer your guests wine, beer or cocktails and serve your table/s with perfect execution. We encourage you to customize the space to suit your needs such as wine table setups, appetizer displays and music selections from our overhead sound system. Our creative Event Planners will design your menus and offer you complimentary tablescapes such a votive candles, charger plates and table runners.
The Private Dining Room
Tucked away with privacy options our Chef's Table is an experience like no other. Get a bird's eye view of Chef Kevin and his team as they prepare your personalized menu from scratch. The Chef's Table can seat 8 comfortably and is a unique idea for that 40th birthday party or private business meeting.

Olympic Hills offers an array of activities to make your event something special. From an outdoor ice rink to lawn games we keep the fun going all year long.
The Bays
The Bays at Olympic Hills, an external building consisting of two indoor / outdoor golf hitting bays along with entry and lounge areas, were completed in June 2018 and came out truly remarkable. The facility is the first in Minnesota to have the ability to open garage doors and hit balls outside while standing inside a heated environment or close the garage doors, deploy a screen, and use the same space as a simulator.

MEMBER DINING
Our recently renovated member Grille provides an inviting and relaxed atmosphere for our members and their guests. Our bar program offers a variety of rotating craft beers, specialty cocktails and top tier wines from across the globe. The Executive Chef and his team prepare delicious cuisine for every season, continually creating innovative and delicious fare for every palate.
ELEGANT PATIO & DECK
Our heated pergola has transformed our outdoor dining experience, allowing our members and their guests to enjoy the view of our scenic waterfall pond and exquisite grounds year round. Whether you are enjoying a cigar after a round or dinner and drinks with friends, the warmth from the pergola accompanied by the outdoor fire pits create the perfect ambience for the ideal evening.
STATE OF THE ART FITNESS CENTER AND YOGA STUDIO
Our fitness center boasts industry leading exercise equipment such as cybex machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals and free weights. In addition to our fitness center, we have a state of the art yoga studio which provides our members complimentary classes throughout the season as well as the off-season. The classes are primarily taught in the style of a heated vinyasa flow by certified CorePower instructors. Lastly, our TRX Suspension Training System offers six suspension trainers and three rip trainers for group and individual training in the studio as well.
