Costco Otsego Grand Opening Is Tomorrow! Here’s What You Need to Know

After months of watching construction, hearing the rumors, seeing the signs go up and asking “When is Costco actually opening?” — tomorrow is finally the day.

Costco Otsego officially opens Friday, August 14, 2026. Costco has confirmed the opening date for its new Otsego warehouse at 11910 60th Street NE, Otsego, MN 55301.

And if you want to be there for the very beginning, set the alarm early.

7:30 AM — I-94 West Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting
The I-94 West Chamber has officially scheduled the Costco ribbon-cutting ceremony from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM at the new Otsego warehouse.

8:00 AM — Costco Otsego Opens
Local opening-day reporting confirms the warehouse is scheduled to welcome its first shoppers at 8:00 AM Friday morning.

A Pretty Big Day for Otsego, STMA and the I-94 Corridor

For those of us who have lived in the STMA area for years, it is pretty incredible to see how much this entire corridor has changed.

Otsego, Albertville, St. Michael, Rogers and the surrounding northwest metro continue to grow, and Costco choosing Otsego for its newest Minnesota warehouse is another major addition to our community.

The new warehouse will include a pharmacy, optical department, hearing aid center, tire service center, gas station and more. Costco’s official site also lists the warehouse’s regular weekday hours as 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with Executive Member shopping beginning at 9:00 AM after opening day.

And here’s a little bonus: the Otsego Costco gas station actually opened ahead of the warehouse on August 12.

So… Who’s Calling In Sick Tomorrow? 😂

I have a feeling there may be a suspicious number of “morning appointments” suddenly appearing on calendars throughout STMA tomorrow.
