A new ALDI grocery store has been approved for plan review near Mackenzie Avenue NE and 60th Street NE, just north of I-94. While the site is technically within Albertville, it sits directly on the Albertville–Otsego border and will serve residents throughout Albertville, St. Michael, and Otsego.

  • Approximately 21,000 sq ft ALDI store

  • Located near major infrastructure upgrades and new retail growth

  • Designed for everyday convenience, quick access, and value pricing

  • Approved alongside additional retail uses (including a car wash)

Local planning discussions indicate ALDI’s timing is being coordinated with nearby large-scale development—most notably Costco—positioning this corridor for a noticeable demand boost.
